Former KC defender Nick Garcia to train with Sporting

There will be a familiar face at Sporting Kansas City’s training tomorrow.

According to a source, former Wizards defender Nick Garcia will practice with the team at Livestrong Sporting Park.

Garcia was not available for comment.

Garcia, 32, played for Kansas City from 2000-07 before being traded to San Jose before the 2008 season. He was dealt to Toronto FC in 2009 and played there through last season.

He is currently a free agent.
