It wasn't the first time for Sporting Kansas City to practice on the field at Livestrong Sporting Park... but it was the first time that a Kansas City Star photographer was there to snap some pictures.

Under the scrutiny of a few assorted media members (sadly, not me, it's a work night), Peter Vermes ran his charges through a training session under the lights as Sporting prepares to open the $200 million park in less than 10 days.
