Let Bush Keep His Heisman

I've just answered a national survey question on whether Reggie Bush is so venal that he should be stripped of his Heisman Trophy.

I answered in the negative. And here's why.

What Bush did on the football field while at USC is undeniable. That's why he won the Heisman. It shouldn't be taken away because of what he did off the field. We know who Bush was and that was the best running back in the country the year he won the Heisman.

I have the same objection to Pete Rose being kept out of the Baseball Hall of Fame because while a manager he bet on some baseball games.
