Suspect in custody after stabbing in parking lot of Overland Park strip mall

Overland Park police have one suspect in custody this afternoon in connection with an early morning stabbing in a strip mall parking lot.

The stabbing occurred between 2:30 and 3 a.m. today in the parking lot at 91st Street and Metcalf Avenue. Police said the male victim was taken to an area hospital and that his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Police originally said they were searching for four suspects.

No other information was available.
