A woman was allegedly beaten and robbed by a group of young adults in an Olathe Wal-Mart parking lot Friday evening. The suspects were arrested shortly after the attack.

Olathe Police were called to the Wal-Mart at 13600 S. Alden St. around 6:45 p.m., according to Lt. Scott Russell.

A 42-year-old woman told them she had been physically assaulted by three people who also stole her purse. Her minor injuries were treated at the scene.

Police also were told that the robbers left in a maroon two-door car with a white convertible top.

Officers spotted the suspect car driving south on Black Bob Road, away from the Wal-Mart.

They stopped the vehicle in the 16000 block of East 151st Street and took four people into custody without incident, including a 25-year-old woman, a 20-year-old woman and two 18-year-old men.

The woman’s stolen property was found inside the car.

Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is asked to call the Olathe Police Department at 913-971-7500.
