K-State's Clemente takes Big 12 honor

Kansas State senior guard Denis Clemente was named Big 12 player of the week today.

Clemente averaged 26.5 points and four assists in the Wildcats' victories at Nebraska and Iowa State. His 30 points against the Cyclones were a season high.

Oklahoma guard Tommie Mason-Griffin was named the league's rookie of the week.
