Poker News Daily: Next 'Celebrity Apprentice' needs another poker player

Annie Duke may not have taken the pot on "Celebrity Apprentice" this week.

But how would another poker player do at the boardroom table?

Poker News Daily raises the idea in its congratulations to Duke, who, in the final seconds of Sunday night's finale, really looked like she thought she had the competition in the bag.

"Annie Duke's charity, Refugees International, received over $700,000 throughout the second season of Celebrity Apprentice. Joan Rivers brought in over $500,000 for God's Love We Deliver. The real winners are the beneficiaries of the two organizations and we at Poker News Daily congratulate Duke on reaching the final two," PND said in a statement.

"We look forward to another poker player competing when Celebrity Apprentice Season 3 debuts in early 2010."

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, Poker News Daily's Dan Cypra did a great interview with Rivers earlier this month. In case you missed it, check it out here.
