Stanley Tucci's wife, Kate, dies of cancer

Actor Stanley Tucci's wife, Kate, has died from cancer, reports The New York Post.

Tucci held a wake for his wife of 14 years over the weekend. They had three children together.

"My wife was an extraordinary person who showed us all what great strength is," Tucci told the Post.

Stanley Tucci has appeared in dozens of films, including "Prizzi's Honor," "Maid in Manhattan" and "The Devil Wears Prada." He'll next be seen in the upcoming "Julia & Julia" with Meryl Streep.
