The airline employee who made Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden cover up his tattoos before boarding a British Airways flight over the weekend is being reprimanded, TMZ reports.
The employee allegedly stopped Madden from getting on the plane because of his tattoos.
And what did Madden do?
He tweeted about it. Fans watched the drama unfold on his Twitter page.
"Was just told by a British Air person I can't get on the plane till I cover my tatts. Should I fight the power?" he wrote.
"I really am in shock they won't let me on the plane till I put long sleeves on."
"Yes I covered up to board the BA flight. I didn't want to miss it. And honestly I was embarrassed all the people were staring and laughing!"
"My tatts aren't offensive. Looking into it. I haven't felt this small since the first time I asked nic (Nicole Richie) out."
Said the airline's rep to TMZ: "We don't understand why the employee took it upon himself to enforce regulations that don't exist."
