Send us your funny pics of kids on Santa’s lap

We know a good idea when we see it, even if Mr. Ho-Ho-Ho may take us off his list this year.

Nothing screams Christmas quite like a picture of a really unhappy tyke on Santa’s lap. You have a picture like that? Send it to us.

We’re taking our inspiration from a new little book called Scared of Santa (Harper, $9.95), which is full of pictures of exactly that. Kids bawling. Struggling to get away from the weird guy in the red suit. Looking like they’re about to puke.

Anyway, e-mail your picture to starfyi@gmail.com. In the body of the e-mail include your name, city and phone number, and tell us who’s in the picture plus the when, where and any other pertinent info. We’ll print some of our favorite photos in The Star FYI section and here.

We’re looking only for funny/bad pictures of children with Santa, but it doesn’t matter how old the photo is. It can be you as a kid or your kids or grandkids.
