Get a clue, get a date;

The medicine cabinet: Bandages, aspirin, vitamins and condoms are OK. Antidepressants, anti-fungal cream, Preparation H and anything with the word "vaginal" are not OK.
The bathroom: Guys, think toilet paper. Gals, maybe some magazines. Both should make sure surfaces are clean, including the bathtub. Don't just close the shower curtain - you know people are nosy!
The fridge: Have on hand a six-pack of beer, a bottle of wine and a non-alcoholic beverage. Clear out rotting food.
The living room: Hide the shabby couch with a nice blanket. Hide self-help books and bills. Limit candles to one or two. Add flowers.
The bedroom: Some nice (clean!) sheets with at least a 225-thread count. Add a lamp for softer lighting. If you're older than 25, remove the posters.
