Watch TV or a movie while you eat. It will make you feel like someone is with you.
Split the work and the cost of a meal by sharing with a friend. Join a cooking class that caters to cooking for one.
Offer a friend a ride to the supermarket or ask her to take public transportation with you. Then share a meal.
