"Coach always tells us to use our defense to create our offense and we did that today," said former Hogan Prep star Denmon. "We pressured the ball and made them turn it over quite a bit today.:
The Canadians turned it over more than just a bit — 35 times.
And Missouri, which beat the Niagara Ontario All-Stars on Saturday 120-80, made this one even more lopsided.
Denmon hit 8 of 11 shots on the way to 23 points. Paul hit 7 of 14 for 17 points and also had three steals.
Zaire Taylor, quickly becoming a defensive ball hawk, had five steals.
MU ends its Canadian tour with a 9 a.m. tip off Monday against the Southern Ontario All-Stars in Welland, Ontario. The All-Stars beat Mercer 84-80 on Saturday.
