MU safety Moore signs with Falcons

More Sports:

Missouri safety William Moore, a second-round draft pick by Atlanta, has signed with the Falcons. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Moore, 6 feet tall and 227 pounds, was a three-year starter at Missouri and intercepted 11 passes, returning a school-record four for touchdowns.

Moore's eight interceptions in 2007 also broke the school single-season record of seven set by Pro Football Hall of Fame safety Roger Wehrli (1968).
