Kansas State pitcher A.J. Morris, who set a school record with 14 wins this season, was named first team All-America by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Morris, a junior, was selected by the Washington Nationals in the fourth-round (No. 112 overall) of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday.
Missouri pitcher Kyle Gibson was named to the second team. He was taken by the Minnesota Twins in the first round, the 22nd selection, on Tuesday.
Kansas third baseman Tony Thompson was on the third team, along with Missouri State pitcher Buddy Baumann, who was selected by the Royals in the seventh round of the draft with their 212th pick.
