The New England Patriots have released former Missouri wide receiver T.J. Moe. An undrafted free agent, Moe reportedly was released under the waived/injured designation, meaning New England can still place him on injured reserve if he clears waivers.

Fort Zumwalt South running back Chase Abbington, Missouri’s top football signee, will go to Hutchinson Community College this fall instead of becoming a Tiger.

A little more than 24 hours before the biggest game of the season, Missouri softball coach Ehren Earleywine was still unsure whether his best pitcher, Chelsea Thomas, would take the mound.

Cornerback Finis Stribling IV, who became Missouris ninth verbal commitment for the Class of 2014 on Monday, is the second defensive back in the 2014 class to commit to Missouri, joining East St. Louis safety Greg Taylor. Stribling is also the second prospect from Tennessee to commit, joining two-star receiver Thomas Richard from Nashville.
