Henry, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Putnam City High in Oklahoma City, will join his brother C.J. with the Tigers. Henry’s father, Carl, played for the Jayhawks during 1983-84.
The Jayhawks have already filled their available scholarships for next season with the signings of power forward Thomas Robinson and point guard Elijah Johnson. KU coach Bill Self has said, though, that he would like to sign a third.
Jersey City, N.J., shooting guard Dominic Cheek, the No. 16 overall player, visited KU for “Late Night in the Phog” and would appear to be the most likely option at this point.
