Chiefs add Chris Chambers

The Chiefs added a wide receiver Tuesday, when they were awarded former San Diego wideout Chris Chambers after putting in a waiver claim.

Chambers was waived Monday after two-plus seasons with the Chargers.

He spent his first six-plus seasons with Miami.

Chambers, who was selected to the 2005 Pro Bowl, had just nine catches in seven games with San Diego.
